TUNE IN is a sound installation that explores how familiar environmental sounds live within our memories. Each of us carries personal soundscapes, and this work is designed to spark those recollections. The visual material offers varying degrees of clues about possible sounds, making it fascinating to discover the different ways people experience them. I am especially interested in how the same imagery can evoke completely different sonic associations for each individual. The installation is projected in a darkened room with comfortable seating, creating an intimate space for reflection and listening. Guests are offered earplugs to heighten their focus and enhance the listening experience.
